Invisalign® Clear Aligners

Invisalign® is a clear aligner system that uses clear plastic trays to straighten teeth. It is a discreet alternative to braces but works very similarly. The trays are worn at all times with the exception of meals and for brushing your teeth. The trays are switched out every few weeks for a new set of trays. Each new set will move your teeth a little closer to the desired position.

First, our dentists will take some digital images of your teeth and mouth. These images will help your dentist in Garland, TX create a custom treatment plan for your smile. Then, you’ll receive a series of custom aligners. You can switch out your aligners at home and wear them for 20 to 22 hours each day. As you wear your aligners, they will slowly shift your teeth into place. Your final treatment results should be visible in about one year.

The aligners are created using advanced 3-D computer imaging technology to ensure your treatment progresses smoothly from start to finish. Your clear aligners are custom-made for you, and your teeth are gradually shifted into place by wearing them for a specified amount of time each day. You’ll need to visit the dentist every six weeks to make sure your treatment is progressing as expected.
