Other more serious symptoms may occur due to jaw trauma, and the hospital can provide the very best care. If you notice you have breathing issues please do not wait and call 911 immediately.
When you visit the hospital for a broken jaw x-rays will be taken and you will be given a physical exam. Depending on the severity jaw surgery may be recommended. Your jaw stability will be tested and blood work will be taken.
